>>712610510I am pretty sure that Stellar Blade is also unique in its "genericness" so to speak. Like I dare you to find me a game like on steam's catalog that has all features it provides in one package that won't cost you 300 dollars in dlc, much less the PS5's measly catalog.
Games like this sell because they have something that other competitors don't. That's true for any product.
For me I like Stellar Blade because it's MGR set in a post apolyptic cyberpunk world with kpop music and has a hot woman that has a ton of outfits. It just checks a lot of boxes. My only gripes really is that some aspects of the combat don't fully sit well with me, like the emphasis on parrying instead of just being allowed to go fully on the offensive like Bayonetta or DMC. however the buttrock and pop songs, the QTEs, the flashy animations, the over the top cutscenes, it's all 7th gen era vidya that I really miss.
