Why would the gambling aspect matter if you don't use any money on the games?
Retards often project onto others that you absolutely HAVE to progress the games at breakneck speed or your time played is now somehow invalidated and for this you have to spend money, and if you don't spend money you're thusly using your time inefficiently.

Video games are a pastime, not a job. When did you start playing games less as a source of enjoyment, but more as a metric for imaginary "success"? Even if you progress in a video game, your life stays the same. What part of your life is improved when you spend money to skip gameplay, instead of actually playing the game? What are video games if not ultimately a waste of time? They're entertainment, not this sisyphean grind.

There are games like hoyoverse ones that have legit gameplay(even if you don't like it), but a lot of them can basically be handed over to auto-mode. Even granblue fantasy's made a steadily increasing focus on full-auto friendly characters and weapons, though it hasn't given up completely just yet.
Personally I don't give a shit. Any game designed for a phone first and foremost, cannot have great gameplay by nature, so w/e. The thing I care about is even some of the worst gacha, wind up having better gameplay than some of the absolute shitpiles these people say are good.
