Constantly fighting drops/breaches can be a good thing by distracting the enemy forces. Like when the evacuation missions first came out and basically the only real way to do them was to split the team and have one pair divert the entirety of the enemy reinforcements on their position by triggering drops over and over.
It just so happens that console cattle are retarded subhumans, so they're not actually thinking about that and will just die over and over instead of holding the line against the enemy.
