I want to love OSRS because I loved playing it back in the day, but I honestly get upset with the extent to which the economy (and therefore drop tables too) are governed by bots. Skilling is pretty much forcibly kept down because otherwise bots would do it 24/7, drop tables of mobs have to be inflated with skilling drops for the same reason, and then there's jmods fucking around effectively insider trading and shit for want of a better way of putting it.

Is there any alternative to live osrs? I'm guessing all the private servers would be aids.

Doesnt help that the youtuber scene is also just filled with sleazy vile fakers and bot farm managers pretending to be one of us or purposely constantly screwing their base over with supposely "money making" tactics.

Sold 17B for irl cash in 2024 and quit the game.
Had a lot of fun in 2019-2020 doing ToB and CoX CM.Now that I think of it, learning ToB with two other random people from scratch is the most rewarding gaming experience I've ever had.

5 Master quests left and then I'll be doing the Grandmaster quests.
My goal is completing every quest, and it's been an absolute blast so far.
Don't know if I'll continue playing after my quest log is empty, maybeee I'll go for completing some bosses/raids but I don't see any other content I'd like to do.

Wdym, I wrote my own bot and the only skill I haven't solved is higher level slayer.

Imo osrs is best until when you play the early and late game but bot the grinding in the midgame. You have to make the bot yourself though, otherwise you're a fag.

Seren is literally just use blood magic, pray range and chug a brew before/after the big % health attack. The whole fight is a dps check, it's not mechanically complex.
