She was becoming a monster, deluded in much more ways than Aline.
Verso even asks her at the end why she can't just go out and return once in a while, but all she sees is Renoir erasing the canvas. She asks her father to trust her, but she doesn't want to offer him the same trust.
In her ending she is just a control monster, she doesn't even restore Verso's painted family, just keeps everyone under her control, including Lune and Sciel who would never agree willingly with the piano scene, and keeps tormenting Verso. She isn't even happy, all you see in her expressions is sorrow, a fake smile and desperation.
In Verso's ending, at his grave, she is smiling honestly, she moved on with both Verso's death and leaving the canvas behind, she's finally at peace and with her family.
