You put these two points together and it's entirely reasonable that someone could play the game a lot and still never encounter anyone from Germany. At least this is what I did everytime they patched shortcuts out, I simply opened the updated files, removed invisible brushes, hosted my own fucking game cause it loaded your config and enjoyed the game without the no fun allowed measures.

Removing the shortcuts was based, nobody like that in versus. You can just play configs if you want them back. Funnily, most configs already banned most retarded shortcuts (for a reason, dumbass, versus is already imbalanced in favor of survs).

It was annoying as fuck, and was just more audio clutter in a game that you need audio to play well in. If you want it back, you can just install a vocalizer and you can spam it in public lobbies as much as you want.
