Not all moviegames are created equal.
When most AAA studios shit out a moviegame, it does not respect your time.

Meanwhile, people shit on Kojima but he has the decency to clearly segregate the movieshit and the GAMEPLAY

Why has no one expressed this duality ? We need more hack directors like Kojima and less failed movie directors like Druckmann or whoever the fuck is responsible for the absolute state of God of War.

I want control. I didn't play kojima games.

I liked stalker, half life, max Payne 1-2, all souls, fps (counter strike, team fortress 2...)

I didn't like red dead redemption 2, max Payne 3, cyberpunk (playing right now), Witcher 3

It's like you said, we need gameplay. Even though I don't like movie games in general I think, if they're made nicely and PLAYFULLY, they'll be great!

a moviegame isn't just a game that has a lot of cinematics, I don't know why snoys still can't grasp the concept (in fact I know why it's because they're braindead normgroid cattle)
