I'm 37 now and need one more year to reach the 20 military retirement marker. By age 62, I'll have two pensions and several homes i can rent out. I'll live off the income you're paying me. If I don't kill myself at 60 for some reason, I'll probably still play games when I'm old and infirm because I won't be physically capable of traveling or doing much else. Retirement as a concept is fairly new and was only possible in incredibly good economic conditions.
