If the Steamdeck is weaker than the Switch 2 even at playing the 3rd party games they both share, why are we pretending Steamdeck is worth $400? Or $550 for the OLED?
>>712644589 (OP) This, my friends, is a prime example of a peasant mindset. Slinking from shadow to shadow, his posture stopped, his chin low. Always stressing over performance to price or the latest Cashback offers or the latest coupons.
We, the masters, simply play and enjoy. I personally have both systems. And I use them as suits my purposes.
>>712644589 (OP) It's true it's a bit overpriced especially now with more powerful handhelds at similar price points. Luckily I got a refurbished 1TB model for the price of a new 512GB model so it feels slightly less painful

>>712644589 (OP) You can pirate games on SteamDeck and the games don't cost $80.
>>712644589 (OP) PC is objectively the best platform to play vidya The 'eck is a portable PC for people that don't like laptops That's literally it
If you want a portable system to play vidya, then the 'ick is god tier. If you don't care about portable gayming, then don't fucking get one. Unlike tendies, PCfags get to choose how they want to play vidya and aren't forced to play exclusively on a handheld.

I'm enjoying the Tony Hawk 3+4 demo and emulating Super Robot Wars W on my deck.

>>712645329 I don't play much mouse only games on it but it actually feels really good for desktop stuff. I'd go as far saying it might be better than some trackpads on old windows laptops
>pay $50 more and give up emulators, mods, cheaper games and the other 99.999999% of the PC library >in exchange for a single port that runs 5fps better (and 15fps worse in CPU heavy scenes) lol

>>712644812 Having either system is a cuck move. Handhelds are for kids and blacks.
>>712644589 (OP) >Steamdeck is worth $400 Nobody has ever said this

>>712644589 (OP) Apples to oranges anon. One is a closed down console you lease from Nintendo, the other is a handheld PC that you can use however you like, can even install Windows on it, Valve provides the drivers.
