I played them back to back to 100%. And I got tired of Scarlet Nexus by the end of the first playthrough as Yuito. Kasane’s campaign and all the bond episodes were bloat on an otherwise solid 30 hour game. It shouldn’t have taken 80 hours to platinum a game with so little content.
Code Vein I had fun with the whole way through. It’s almost pure gameplay, and I honestly liked its story better anyways despite how sparse it was. I care more about Io than the Scarlet Nexus characters.
I do have a soft spot for Tsugumi. She’s best girl and should’ve had more screentime in the main story. She’s basically the only character who’s bond episodes are worth doing.
