The only fun mode in modern Mario Kart games is Time Trial. DS was the last Mario Kart that had fun tournaments and multiplayer.

Double Dash feels more like a sled game than a kart game with how much you slip. There’s absolutely no sense of traction when you play it, somehow anti-gravity vehicles in F-Zero GX have better traction than anything with wheels in Double Dash.
