I'm enjoying it, but its definetely a mixed bag - High highs and low lows. I like that its ambitious and there's definetely some really cool stages in there with some interesting tech

But the transport part between stages are honestly just a novelty. They're fun for the first run and then they wear out their welcome since there's no real design to their layout. The amount of players leads to a lot of chaos and ass clenching moments, but its very likely you also get completely fucked by RNG with no real way of mitigating this. I know MK is known for this, but World has probably got the worst case of getting Mario Kart'd in the series - Constant barrages of items makes it very hard to reliably hold any position at all, and likely as a result of how long the intermission parts are, the vast majority of players end up bunching up along each other since the game is constanly doling out Golden Mushrooms and Bullet bills to make sure everyone is in the race
