I remember when Smash 4 was coming out, me and my (former) friends were predicting who was gonna make it into Smash.
I remember predicting
Rosalina
Duck Hunt
Lucina
Little Mac
And the most unexpected Shulk
I was a Operation Rainfall supporter and I remember wanting Zael from the Last Story. But knew he wasn't gonna make it cause he's 3rd party. But I realized Shulk from Xenoblade wasn't and was surprisingly from a 1st party game. None of my friends believed he was even a viable option and ridiculed me for such a stupid choice to be included. Xenoblade was barely known before smash and now is considered a top IP for the company. All my friends ended up playing all it's sequels. But I'll never forget predicting Shulk and no one will ever believe me.
(P.S. Remember when Xenoblade was $90 at Gamestop for the Wii?)

I remember first checking out Xenoblade because everyone and their mother was predicting some fucker named "Shulk" would be in the next Smash. And I was already a fan by the time X was announced, which was in the same presentation as Smash 4.

So you'd be a fucking dumbass if you thought nobody else predicted Shulk. But that's a big "if" because your story is made up anyway. You didn't predict Duck Hunt. Nobody predicted Duck Hunt until after they were leaked, and so nobody in their right mind would consider them less unexpected than Shulk.
