As far as Paper Mario games go it's right in the middle. Not the best. Not the worst. Pretty decent i guess.

My main problem with this game is that you don't get the best character (Luigi) until near the very end of the game. At that point why even bother?

I guess we secretly yearn for PlayStations when you put it like that
But I think Super specifically could use some tweaking to allow this game to really shine. It's so polarizing but I think some small changes could win a lotta people over

Like censoring the script and adding delays in the menus just like in the TTYD demake? Yeah, that's exactly what super needed

on one hand it will be watered down which will make a worse remake ,
while on the other i want to see this outsell ttyd again

Thinking a bit harder on it, fuck a remake
I want a sequel. The concept is really cool to me. A marriage of 2d platforming and RPG. It's something they should tackle with a fresh start. A remake could only fix so many things before becoming too different

Great story but weak gameplay, the story is better than basically all the other paper mario games but the gameplay just drags for me
