I downloaded Gex 2 with the intention of replaying it last month. I haven't launched it yet. I beat it back when it came out, both 2 and 3 but I don't remember a damn thing really.

I only ever liked Gex 2 (never played 3). I just couldn't get into 1 because it felt so much worse than other 2D games from that era. Plus all the levels looked the exact same.

What versions are they?
The Playstation version of Gex 2 had 2 worlds not in the N64 version. And the N64 version had a Titanic world not in the PS1.

Effort would be having all 3 worlds in the game. I expect no effort.

A Gex rerelease SHOULD be the bare minimum, with only a few QoL improvements such as framerate and draw distance. If any of the jokes or Agent Xtra scenes are changed, there should be riots on the streets.

the only problem with Gex 1 was the length.
it's a decent platformer where the gimmick is you can stick to walls, ceilings and the backgrounds.

Call me crazy but I'd preferred that they actually put in the time/effort to properly remaster the games the same way Argonaut did with Croc than just selling us an emulator and 3 roms for the price of an AA game, even if that meant a line or two got removed.
