I’ve been playing 4 again recently and it’s fucking great. Octocamo, higher variety in what Snake can do without the bloat of V, it’s an underrated system.

Fuck MGSV, I don't like it. It's the game that really disillusioned me with the open world formula, and I say this as someone who has enjoyed Ubislop. I hated to see that done to a series that previously had tight, challenging and interesting gameplay. MGS4 has far too little gameplay, it's criminal because it has an amazing feel to it but so much of it is on rails bullshit on top of it being shorter in the gameplay department than the rest to begin with. I think MGS1-3 are all near perfect games though. Peace Walker, it has some problems, still great.

Hitman broke me free of the stealth game savescumming curse and holy shit actually having to run away and recover from an alert is so much fun

I only liked 3. 2 is for pseudos and 1 is for boomers who are irrelevant now. This series is mid at best.
