We haven't gotten any word on future DLC after Daima, which they haven't even bothered to dub, so I wouldn't be surprised if they just dropped it and released SZ2.

Hopefully they release some GOTY or ultimate package that contains all this stuff. I like my physical collections and all the DLC stuff can get difficult to keep up with. I liked the PS2 era DBZ games a lot.

Player count plummeted for a myriad of reasons, so they could drum up interest by selling a sequel with more characters and stages and sell it at full price, while needing to put in less work than SZ (kinda like what BT3 tried to do). But that's just me speculating based on nothing outside of a complete lack of information regarding the future of the game.
You would think they would announce that they plan on making costumes and accessories, while making people wait for the characters, at the very least, but no. Dead silence.
