Gameplay and characters were super shallow and underwhelming. There's nothing to discuss besides the usual kshills and dress up mods.

Busy playing it all day, took a break to eat. Its a very good game the platforming is the worst part. The combat is fun, the semi open area sections and side questing are interesting enough and im happy to do them to get material to craft new outfits and unlock/upgrade skills.

theres almost too many combat options they throw at you. I dont even touch Tachy mode because Im still getting the hang of the Burst/ Rush combos, parrys dodges and counters.

Anons just compare it to this or that arpg. I've seen people say it has better gameplay than Nier Automata and that's enough to sell me on the game.

Story is straightfoward. It's not some shallow pseudo-intellectual shit with an epic twist or "really makes you think" social commentary that make midwits think they're smart for making the game their entire personality. Again with Nier Automata the twist was the invaders and humans were dead the entire time.

modded because the combat Is hard and I struggle with the timing. There is a mod that increases parry and dodge counter windows slightly and also reduces the cooldown of Rush so combat feels more mobile. Also I like the more revealing options for some of the outfits like the blue bikini so I installed a few outfit mods but thats it.

Soon? You dont need to really pay attention to combos its just using your Burst and Rush combos to help manage when you get grouped up on. I feel its more about parrying and countering and trying to peel enemies off one by one to avoid pulling too large a group and then if I do I have rush combos that work well on groups. I kind of suck tho so if you are good at the combat I bet it opens up even more. I feel like the combat is adaptable to different playstyles.

You'll notice that if you check b4k, most of the gameplay webms/mp4s are uploaded by the same person over and over hoping to get (You)s. Completely defeating the point of an image board where such videos were meant to be spread around a community. I also guess this just means that 4chan's population is much much smaller than people think. I swear it becomes easier to spot the same people here over time because how easy you can spot patterns in how they post.

nta but that mod makes the parry and dodge windows a full second of iframes. Even with the upgrades, parrying and dodging can still be very tight. Perfect dodging in particular is very tricky. Like you have to press dodge at the exact moment Eve is about to get hit for the dodge to count. It can work on smaller enemies but massive enemies like Gigas where their entire body is a hitbox + shockwaves, half assed dodging is basically useless.
