Problem with WoD is a twofold one in that not only did you get usual lefty writers, which White Wolf always employed as freelancer but back in the day it was just progressive, but the entire new edition was geared towards the LARP crowd.

I wonder if the final version of VTMB2 will be able to have the production polish that SWTD does. It's not really an issue of skill, but rather sheer scope. Making a 5 hour long walking sim with stealth sections is a very different to making an RPG with thousands of conversations, and a big open world hub-thing. If they can pull it off, it'll probably be really good. But the more time passes without a public hands-on where they let youtubers and stuff play a few hours, the more people are rightfully nervous. They let PC Gamer have access, but you need multiple outlets to have access WITH VIDEO to instill any kind of confidence. If they are going to stick to an October release they need to show this game in its near finished form extensively before really the end of July.
