Only take it off if you've got another protector ready to slap on immediately. That pre-installed film is basically tissue paper, but going bare is asking for scratches from dust, joy-con rails, or even the dock if you breathe on it wrong. Get a decent tempered glass protector, you'll thank yourself later.
