She fails all the tests. I replayed the demo trying to make something happen to me by allowing visitors in but nothing does which kind of sucks because it's like no gameplay matters. Yeah I liked the more purposeful setup of the original demo. Not even game needs replayability

I'll be fair, I actually dig what the devs are doing with this game a lot. It's clearly doing the whole analog horror sus impostor shit, however the difference here is that shit like mandela catalogue just relied on "they look like us... but not really! They're all spooky and goofy and weird and make jerma sus faces, then they kill you and theres nothing you can do about it!!!"
Meanwhile this game maintains a feeling of paranoia and uncertainity because you know fuck-all about the visitors and all rhe "signs" that are supposed to reveal them are super vague and dubious - like, would you blow someone's brains out just for having clean teeth, dirty nails, inflamed eyes and clean armpits? Not to mention the artstyle makes everyone look strange and people have all kinds of odd personalities, making it hard not to trust
Not to mention the writing is actually REALLY GOOD and makes the various characters feel genuine & real while dropping lines that carry actual emotional weight and make you think hars about the situation and the choices you make
I'm just worried if it will have any actual depth or replay value, or if it will be just a one-time narrative experience

I think it all comes down to looking at the test results and the reasoning the one being examinated gives about it. There's situations where they can be a visitor and make all the tests show they're one of them (like the amogus guy) and there's other times where there's only one test showing they could be a visitor and they tell you a strange excuse for why they're like that (like the fortune teller blaming the redness of her eyes on the moon).
There was even one time where the amogus guy was a human and the tests and his excuses showed that he wasn't a visitor.

I assume it's directly linked to visitors in some way. My speculation is that it's specifically a final solution to the global visitor problem, but doesn't really discriminate its targets. Either aaylmao-built AI attached to the sun that detects visitors awakening from their slumber and starts blasting the planet, or direct divine judgement from god, depending on whether the lore ends up going scifi or supernatural route.

I don't get this game's point. I thought it was thriller where you doubt every encounter and survive, but the demo turned out to be Coffee Talk in an apocalypse setting. It feels like it should be a cozy anime game but the art design is far from that.

Great game. Did enjoy.
Not sure if you can lose, seemed too easy. Was confused by the corpse bags, didn't understand why a guest would be hiding in a plastic bag.

None of the steam clones were good, though mechanically better they were boring and lacked original writing.

What I really want to see is a last stand mod, where you're travelling from building to building so when you encounter visitors during the day they're not a direct threat, and it's only when you get to a building at night that you've got to decide who to let in. Because then you're encountering survivors in different contexts not just at your front door, and you're not guaranteed to have at least one survivor with you every night.
