EasySMX x10 has been good for me.
quality control is shit though
first one i got had to go back because the sticks weren't calibrated

Not having hall on the "premium" flagship super duper elite controller for the """""pros""""" is the most obvious give-away for these products.
Longevity issues like stick drift are the single most annoying thing on standard controllers.

All I want is a DS4 that can last a lifetime. No extra paddle buttons or other dumb shit like branding or gay coloration to attract niggers.
Something where the value lies inside the commponents and not the casing and marketing.

It's almost perfect. The alternate colors look amazing and dpad is probably my favorite dpad I've ever had but it has one crucial flaw. No gyroscope. Hall effect sticks I don't mind being missing but I need every single one of my controllers, with some exceptions, to have a gyroscope for 3rd person shooters and Nintendo games. It's just something I absolutely need

That's a good thing if you're smart enough to make a rechargable batteries setup. Dualsense can only recharge through a type C cable and you said it, the battery life is atrocious. Not getting into the incompatibility which requires a third party program for older games

I'm a PC gamer and the PS5 controller feels so much better to me on the occasions I use a controller. Not just the feel of the controller in my hands, but the Xbox analog sticks are CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK on the plastic while the PS5 are a muted thock thock thock thock. Can't have that Xbox shit while I'm listening to a podcast while playing American Truck Simulator with high quality open-back headphones.

Perfect for emulating Genesis, Saturn, N64, PS1, and PS2.

It indeed doesn't. We have a few contenders for few genres but no real best. All have some issues or shortcomings sadly.
