Unlike you, I played both, so I'll give you a correct answer:
DQ11 is fucking dogshit. The world of "ruin" is done extremely lazily, you needed the extra episodes from the rerelease just to realize that the world was indeed getting fucked. 3rd arc is a joke in terms of writing, it's a literal fanfic that retroactively makes the previous 50 hours worse. Game still has the same basic DQ style gameplay that you've already played before. Customization was heavily downgraded from 9 and 10. The console version lacked the 3DS content. The """definitive""" version included the 3DS content but was downgraded hard thanks to the Shitch being garbage. Barely any good story arcs. HORRIBLE soundtrack solely because you've already heard all of the fucking tracks before, I genuinely can't remember a new track that wasn't the battle themes and overworld, and then the 3rd arc fucks it up further by changing the overworld with the DQ3 one because muh nostalgia. Character designs for the main party are extremely boring, with the protagonist himself having the worst protagonist design in the franchise. And worst of all: you can't waifu master Pang or Mia
E33 on the other hand is objectively a kino game. Actual build variety that isn't just picking a weapon type in the skill tree, great story AND writing, good character designs despite going for a realistic approach, amazing unique soundtrack, gameplay that requires you to gitgudscrub instead of just getting lucky with metal slimes and has actual interesting unique locations that aren't just copy pasted DQ8 environments.
It's impossible to get excited for DQ12 when it will either
a) Be DQ11 2
b) Be westernized cancer
Just let the franchise die please
