I don't think you know what low-end means. You can get a $200 GPU, a $100 CPU, a $80 motherboard, a $60 case, a $60 SSD, a $100 monitor and another $50 for the peripheals and you're at around $600 (add Windows if you want) and you'll be running games at low.

because, world's biggest retard, i can still play a lot of them, just with lower graphics and longer loading screens. the gameplay is the same either way, and i don't like it. everything's been empty open world soulless grinding bullshit for years. only in the last year have things started requiring SSDs and RTX so i literally can't play them, but after years of downward trending i don't want to. i almost upgraded for dark ages but changed my mind after watching a trailer, and it looks like it was a great decision

Honestly, even if you're someone who travels a lot, you'd be better served by just having a desktop and a handheld PC like a Deck, for the cost of a $900-$1000 gaming laptop you could probably get a Deck and build a PC stronger than the laptop.

Because it's not, a budget GPU here is like $300-$400 (which is still shit in my view, a 9060 XT 16 GB should be $300 and an 8 GB should be $220, no 8 GB GPU should be more than $250 at the absolute most).
