>>712735019 (OP)It really doesn't take much to make BioWare look like failures in comparison. Their last two successful games were Dragon Age Inquisition eleven years ago, and the high-definition remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy four years ago - and frankly, Inquisition was an ugly, boring slog that only got interesting in the post-game DLC. Everything else they've released has been utter trash. Andromeda was crapped out by a D-team full of people with no industry experience, and it got its branch studio closed and its planned trilogy binned. Anthem was tossed together in eighteen months after BioWare leadership spent three and a half years faffing about, and proved so spectacularly broken that the devs couldn't actually fix any of its bugs without breaking something else. And Veilguard was a project cancelled and restarted multiple times until it finally congealed into a shitty, mobile-game-tier mess that they couldn't even give away for free.
