I just don't know how you make a sequel to Gmod and expect it to be successful. It was technically the first of the "games within a game" gimmick that succeeded. Now we have Roblox, Fortnite, VRChat, and even GTA VI is going to be that. What incentive is there for young developers to work on their projects here compared to anywhere else?

They haven't updated their docs for a long time and cucked themselves by using Source 2. They've been working on this bs for so long now and haven't been able to develop anything valuable, they don't have anything that makes them stand out compared to Fortnite Creator or Roblox Studio does. I get that I'm probably in the minority here but I think it's kind of a shame how nearly all of the promo material so far just focuses on custom games modes. The first thing that comes to my mind when someone says Gmod is still just building cars and houses with friends in gm_construct.
