Cyberpunk 2077 (incl. the Phantom Liberty expansion) is a masterpiece!

phantom liberty was kino but base game felt like a long ass cutscene with some gameplay in between.
To the people who played the game multiple times... how the fuck do you handle slogging through act 1?

It is, but unfortunately this is a Mongolian basket weaving zone populated largely by completely dysfunctional failed manchildren and third-worlders. It didn't give the Slavs Gamma/Misery, it didn't give the literal children a grown-up wish fulfilment simulator like GTA5, it didn't give the pedos a woman aged under thirty to fuck, and so on.

It's still pretty damn buggy at times, and feel like the ending was a little rushed, but I still loved the game overall.

Being able to explore and do weird side-quests in a sci-fi city with engaging lore has killed a lot of excitement I've had for other modern open world games that just let you drive around a normal cityscape for the millionth time.

I'm sure it's alright. Does it undersell the sense you got when we saw the first trailers and the initial promo an concept renders and such? That was a game I REALLY wanted to play, but thenmore stuff started coming out and the Shazam posting was born. I've heard it's gotten better and I'm sure it has, but am I going to be dissapointed? I know it's a totally different game but to give an idea of what kind of RPG I like, and what I'd hoped it would sort of offer insofar as a fleshed out feeling world goes, I like KOTOR a lot.
