You clearly are since you're defending them. Every media you consume leaves a mark on you, which is why it's good to select your media, and not just mindlessly consume everything available. Usually higher IQ is not so much what you do, but rather what you Don't do.

OW1 was...okay. It had some good dialogue, but the combat was the weakest part. The game just felt like a first attempt.

From what I've seen, OW2 looks like a big improvement.

ow1 was dogshit. it was half finished and nothing in the game even felt good or cohesive like it was even playtested. grounded was pretty good even if it was severely lacking in content, especially so in the early days of EA. avowed is actually a functioning game and I felt it was pretty decent even though some of the systems in the game werenโ€™t very fleshed out/were limited. I donโ€™t know what the fuck happened after ow1 were they just suddenly remembered how to make video games but I still donโ€™t have any expectations for ow2

"Form" for Obsidian is making incredibly mediocre, ambitionless games that they somehow get a pass on because they vaguely resemble good games that were made 20 years ago

It's so one note, too. It's just terrible. You can sum up the entire setting in two words. Corporations bad.
Cyberpunk is also explicitly about that, but there's still a lot more meat to it. There's actual variety in the various groups involved.

didnt they explain all the factions and the moral choices between choosing them? they just spoiled the whole game and it didnt even seem that deep or fleshed out. just very basic and rudimentary run off the mill factions.

Had way more manpower than New Vegas behind it.
Had way more development time than New Vegas.

Not like the first game was any better. I also wonder if they'll tone down the "man bad and stupid, woman good and smart" thing that was present in the first game in every single fucking faction choice. Granted I think it was slightly ambiguous for the first planet but that shit was present everywhere otherwise.
