I dont much care for it, but Kpop and doramas have been all the rage for a while now, and korean shows like Squid Game have been very sucessful world wide.

Korean cinema is also really high quality while being very discernably different from western cinema, which is quite a breath of fresh air, especially since Hollywood can only churn out gay ulgy slop.

Korea also has a very competitive electronics industry, and their cellphones are top of the line. Easily among the best.

Videogames have been a squarely Japan exclusive industry in east asia for decades, and the Chinese and Koreans have only just begun to inch into AAA gaming while previously being confined in mobile games. so far im impressed by the level of quality and the general good atittude most of these games have. Stellar Blade and Wukong are complete packages of great action games that while theyre clearly inspired by a number of japanese action games like Sekiro and DMC, they are very different in other areas and manage to have their own identity. more competition can only be a good thing.

2B is just whatever the Rei archetype is called. I dont particularly find 2B to be a very compelling character. Nier is just misery porn trying to jerk out an emotional reaction out of you by being overly gritty and dark. But this is impossible because 2B is just not an interesting character outside of her design. Stellar Blade also gets away with is because you can dress Eve which ever way you like, but 2Bs design is too ridiculous to take the drama seriously. Or maybe its the drama itself thats too ridicuous to be taken seriously.

That being said, its complete retardation to think that good writitng is just tacking on however many character archetypes and quirks you can into a single character. EVE and 2B dont need to be emoting or have a different personality every scene for them to be entertaining and, unlike the troons and the feminists will have you believe, a character being pretty and hot is part of their overall charm, if not the main part of their charm.
