This game is 22 years old and The Simpsons was already way past its prime and not funny anymore when it came out. How did they milk another 2 decades out of it?

Now that the world is fully aware of the Indian problem, why don't the writers give Apu a proper sendoff? Like having him get decapitated by a train while making a tiktok video or having him get busted by Chris Hansen for solicitation?

The game was apparently scaled way back from what was originally planned. I wouldn't be surprised if there were other planned, playable side characters, and when the cuts got made, Apu just happened to be the most finished, so he got to stay, while the others didn't

That’s interesting, I played a lot of it on my PSP - I remember having more fun wandering the hub levels than I did in the races themselves, but this had an interesting take on a racing campaign. Doing certain objectives in the hub would open up shortcuts in the tracks themselves. Bart's first stage, love his rock theme that plays when you're in a car zooming around the expressway with the city skyline in the background. Lisa's first level is nice too. you can see it in how the game's rigged animation works. there's only two skeletal builds in the game, adult and child, and with just a few action replay codes any level where you normally play as an adult can allow you to play as a different adult, likewise for the children. though try and talk to anyone and your game will (probably) crash, there are mods for the PC version that unlock the functionality bug-free.
