I finally got a new job at KFC and my grandparents gave me an extra 200 bucks on my 31st birthday earlier this month.

My dad sold my copies of Zelda, but does it make sense to buy the update editions of BoTW and TotK? I already played around 1000 hours on the original and 500 on TotK

I lived with my parents until I was 30. At 27 I bought my first appartment and rented it, at 30 I bought a second one which I moved in. Unless you have rich parents it's the only way to become a property owner at a young age. Better that than being a rentoid all my life. Not going to lie it had an impact on my social and sex life though, but it's cool now that I have real estate. I would strongly advise people to avoid student debt and wasting money on rent but that's just my opinion.

For a switch, you would probably be fine getting a smaller 1080p screen with a decent response time. That will save you a shitload of money since you aren't going to be playing 4k shit anyway, and it will be the most responsive screen for the price.

I'm French and in a big city where the jobs are if you want a decent 50m2 appartment in a white area you're gonna have to pay at the very least 1200€ but more realistically 1500 just for rent (yes it's that retarded in the big cities). That's without electricity, gas, water bills. Then you need to pay for your car, the gasoline, the car insurance, maybe even a parking spot depending on where you live. A phone and internet are basically required for both of you so that's close to a hundred for fiber + 2 mobile plans. Having a complimentary healthcare given by your employer on top of the state healthcare is mandatory. Your employer has to provide you with one and he can decide to pay for up to 50% of it which is what they usually do in public/semi public sectors but in private ones they're more likely to pay 20% so the remaining 80% are on you. There are just so many fucking things. You're already close to 2500€ deep without the food and then you need to spend some money on your missus too.

We used to have a council tax but it was removed by Macron which in turn made the property ownership tax increase a lot since basically he cut off half of the cities income so they mechanically increased the property tax to make up for it.
