>>712806009No. Its just DD1 but some of the changes are worse for everything it does "different" not better, just not the same as it was in DD1
Noone who anticipated a DD sequel wanted BBI and Everfall removed and for there to be the same amount of classes, with some being removed and replaced with actual useless garbage, and for it to be piss easy again. Its a 7/10, youll enjoy it then never play it again.
There is no end game or difficulty options for people wanting more, and everything can be done on one playthrough on top of not having any sort of repeat content. This is why its dissapointing, it did not elaborate and develop on what DD1 did, it tried to actually be DD1, but different, like a soft reboot, like they lifted bad things from DD1 as though they were features rather than something that couldve been improved with modern tech
>game about walk everywhere>make the spawns in fixed locations with the same enemies>make the world bigger>have nothing to discover, and all the loot is sold at fucking vendors>make armours more class restricted, so there is less character customization, dont counter this with a color pallete swapper or something, there is just less choiceThe frustrating thing is that you can see how simple things couldve been done to make the game more in line with what was expected of a sequel and not a sort of reboot.
