Take your gaming to the next level with the Nintendo Switchโ„ข 2 Pro Controller.

This controller includes a C Button for opening the GameChat menu at any time, GL/GR Buttons that you can freely map to any button you choose, an audio jack for headphones and headsets, and other features.

my bundled joycons, as well as a friend, have an issue where the left joycon's connection gets shitty if it loses line of sight with the console. even resting it behind your leg or something means sudden brief instances where your movement inputs stop. and the pro controller works on PC.
playing 4P splitscreen on my PC involves a 'xbox for pc' controller, a dualsense, and 2 switch pro controllers. i love it.

not a fan of the triggers and it seems like it was made for people with tiny children sized hands but it feels really high quality and I love how it's seamless and there's no ridges or whatever digging into your palms, plus it's got my favourite analog sticks of any of the official controllers, though TMR sticks feel x1000 nicer, obviously

The triggers, especially RT / R2 tends to break on most controllers first for me.

They're fine, but that's it. They sacrifice ergonomy for the portable 2 player option. You can get used to them, but if you're going to play on docked, there is no reason not to use a real controller other than really tight budget.

The Switch 2 alone is $450 and a $500 launch is literally what Sony did in 2020 and four years in people still weren't buying it and stuck to PS4

>Wait, the PS5 stopped being bundled with a controller?
They usually come with one tbf but not being backwards compatible with the DS4 for PS5 games still sucks (you can still use the Pro 1 for Switch 2 games so you don't absolutely need a Pro 2) and those controllers are so bad you will have to buy another one at some point anyway like I did. They are the only controllers I have ever gotten stick drift on and other random issues on from doing nothing but playing games.
