Nintendo can never be the solo game devs because they are Japanese and it's illegal to own a monopoly in Japan so when they take everyone down they will go down as well but with all your money.

Seeing how there are no good Switch 2 games that can't already be played on PC one way on another, there's probably little motivation to work on an emu.
But some games release later this year, maybe there will be something worth a mention, and if so, I'd say an emu could appear around March 2026. Of course, it will be barely able to run one game at first, but by the end of 2026 at least multiple games should work well enough to play them from start to finish.
If there are no big games this year, then the whole prediction could move back a year.
This is, of course, only my prediction based on following emulators for over 20 years.
