they've held onto games for years and released them later on when the schedule is right
they did this for metroid dread, metroid prime remastered and fire emblem engage

The existence of dynasty warriors kind of soft rules out zelda. Why would they put out a new zelda title and then release an "old" zelda title. They have to operate around non gamer parent logic. Basically I wouldn't expect a new zelda title until 2026 at the earliest and likely later than that.
