I'm glad that they still make games that appeal to real people, and not to females and minorities like you.

It reminds me on Detroit twist about the little girl. That "twist" about her being an android ruined everything that Kara's path originally had as its appeal. Which was exploring relationship between a human and android in the darkest way possible. With the shitty twist of the little girl being an android all along, all the emotional build up about her just gets ruined.
This thing felt the same. The most "gut punching" scenes in this game were literally Gustave related scenes. Since very intro! By doing the "twist" of how they are all just painted (chat gpt basically), they ruin the entire premise, and whatever emotional baggage the story originally had. Now when you replay the game how are you to feel for anything going on? What was once the greatest intro to the game as you felt the pain together with main character (Gustave) now loses all its impact when you know that none of it was truly real. It's just chat gpt thinking its real. All of it ruined for shittiest characters (every Dessendre), with game turning everything just about THEM. The rest? Fuck them. They aren't real kek

expedition 33 is unironically a game that requires a shockingly high IQ to fully understand thematically like a lot of the greatest literature. It's ok if you didn't get it, maybe after reading some world literature you might be able to piece what's going on. Even most people that enjoyed the game don't appreciate the genius behind the writing

you're not used to stories providing information through subtext. You need constant exposition to understand what's going on. That's why the story seems simplistic to you, you cant even comprehend what's going on. People that actually read praise the story for that reason
