great system but it was a little annoying to get it airdropped in by multiple military choppers and having to add an expansion to my house to make room for it

Actual insane feature and the fact it isn't maintained today demonstrates how much the industry has failed gamers.

The real scam is the unreliable hardware. So many ways an Xbox can fail.

The PC version of these, in fact, look amazing.
Not only does the Xbox version run below the PC lowest settings, but the performance is also terrible.

I never used this feature much. Normally I enjoy the music that came with the game. Only if I'm playing for hundreds of hours and totally tired of the music do I change it. It was still cool to have at LAN parties though. Plug in your mp3 player to the xbox and now we can listen to hybrid theory with halo deathmatch

I love Flatout and the first is my favorite. I played on PS2 and PSP when it was new. Since then I got the PC version and played it even more. Online is working, and it is wonderful with 100 FPS and Directsound3D in surround sound. A while ago GOG gave it away for free and it was on sale for like $2 several times. I've had many races with my friends now.
Anyone who hasn't played this, it is really one of the best racing games from back then. The driving holds up a lot better than most other simcade racers like NFS. I'd say it's the equal of ReVolt for the quality of driving and Burnout in physics. Some of my favorite xbox racing games from the time like Rallisport Challenge 2 honestly don't compare to Flatout. I'd much rather play Dirt or EA WRC now, but I still go back to Flatout.

Was DOA Ultimate ever actually sold in a standard case like that? I've only ever seen the box with both games in individual cases, which is what I have.

I used this feature on PGR2, GTA games and Counter-Strike. There was some old moto gp demo that also featured it and it played italian pop music from my own soundtrack
