It's just social media poisoning. You have to understand that 95% of the global population until just a couple of decades ago would normally never have had any exposure to nor communication with anyone outside of their local church group at best. Now everyone is permanently tethered to a glowing screen that exposes them to the unfiltered opinions of poorly-educated people around the world at all times. Their brains simply can't handle the constant stream of retardation and propaganda, which was already painfully effective when they only got it in drips and drabs from reading a newspaper before going about their mundane lives, and is now an existential threat to humanity.

Obviously, anyone with a brain avoids this stupidity outright, their personal opinion on the matter notwithstanding. Anyone who spends more time shitposting online about wokeness in games or whatever than actually fucking playing games is someone who doesn't care about video games and shouldn't be listened to.
