One of the worst things about Genshin is that you are permanently stuck with a flying baby who acts as your voice for the entire game. I would no mind Paimon, if she did not stole the whole protagonist of the main character, which is voiceless mannequin.

You can't even use the "self-insert" excuse for Genshin's MC because he is clearly his own character with a personality, motifs and backstory. However, the game refuses to give him voice lines, so you have to spend your whole journey as a mute observer while Paimon, which has the mental capacity of a 4 years old, talks to everyone for you.
