Atlus Japan isn't going to change things because, unlike the west, the Japanese fanbase is pretty built in and will absolutely flip their shit at major changes to the characters they like. Any changes will be to lean in to what the fanbase already likes about her, which will be flanderization but they already did that with the entire cast in all the spinoffs and anime. Atlus USA could change things in the localization, but Atlus Japan will be on their ass if those changes result in low sales and a major backlash. P3R's localization changes were pretty standard and it sold well, so that's the template they'll use. At most they'll cast a tranny to voice her.
