Guardians is fun and the new DxM looks good.
Marvelous is still around nearly 10 years after Senran console games concluded and they're still around. It's evidently not the entire backbone of the company after all.
Releasing shovelware tier games like Loop8 and Deadcraft and Farmagia didn't help though.

Probably a Japanese censorship related reason. Their censors really hate things that can be connected to real crime or whatever and are very savvy. Take CERO flipping skirts to look for panties for instance. A recent Neptunia game that got E 10 by ESRB is 15+ by CERO because of panties. They connect panties to perverts irl who take up skirt photos. Wouldn't surprise me if they consider intimacy scenes connected to perverts somehow. Perhaps it even would still be allowed on the console, but the age rating that would be required it higher than the company wants for their game.
