SOMA, funnily enough.
I think it's because you are so remote and alone (except for the occasional Catherine) and the situation is so hopelessly fucked that it wraps around to being comfy again.

I really wish I could have more adventures at this school
KS does something I've yet to find in other pure slice of life VNs where the location itself is interesting enough on its own to make the "boring" parts of the game interesting
You play something like Clannad, and yes eventually the stories unravel and some people feel the payoff is worth it, but up until that point its just a basic bitch school setting with extremely basic characters so you spend HOURS going through silly hi-jinks that really aren't funny enough to merit the time spent
KS hooks you in immediately because of how many questions you have about everything in relation to its setting and its characters
It kinda accomplishes what Hogwarts accomplished but without being fantasy
Its very comfy to just exist in, even though 2 of the routes are dogshit.

Animal Well is creepy as fuck but also cozy its kinda hard to explain
as you get comfortable with the game, the whole map feels like home and there's good amount of content after getting comfortable with everything (there's more unlockables post credits than there are pre-credits) so you get to exist in that state for quite awhile.

Its not truly 100% but its 100% in that now the entire game can be modded freely
There's already a guy working on a mod called Animal Crossing Deluxe which currently has a lot of new features but he's working on backporting newer villagers and items/materials
suffice to say, there will soon be a golden age for Animal Crossing (GC) and I'm pretty excited.

shouldn't be ashamed of BG3
anyone who actually likes CRPGs can at least appreciate it even if they have problems with it
The conversations attacking it around here are inherently anti-RPG on a foundational level and they would be whiny little faggots if they had to play a tabletop game with people they didn't politically or religiously align with
loser culture war shit and most of them never even played it (or any CRPG for that matter)

I wish KH2 had sovl like Traverse Town but the levels on KH2 are as boring as possible
They went all in on combat though and it paid off so I don't blame them but KH1 has setting down way better
KH2's intro is essentially KH1 tier in story, world building, atmosphere, but the rest of the game doesn't bother

Brother not only does VS have mods, but the developers own mod framework makes the game extremely easy to use them.

I usually play with a ton of them to really wack out my experience to the cuhrayzee effect.
I suggest, hot takes:
CarryOn
Primitive Survival
Pet AI
VSVillages+addons
Xlib, XSkills
At Waters Edge (old?)
From Golden Fields
Hammers Ringing Fall (if it's done yet)
Combat Extended
Maltiesz Crossbows and Guns
Every mod that Dana makes (Danatweaks etc)
Joy of Sailing (might be old now too)
CANcrops
The Cart Mod
Rivers
Plains and Valleys
all of the fauna of the stone age mods

And just go wild
The 1-Click-Install feature is fucking great.

Its next on my list but I don't really understand how it would offer a similar experience at all
I get the idea is the same but Hypnospace Outlaw nails the feeling of exploring shit online where as in Broken Reality aren't you going through like 3D spaces ala Worlds or Second Life? It just seems like a completely different thing at the end of the day but I suppose I'll find out.

>Broken Reality aren't you going through like 3D spaces

You are exploring a virtual environment inspired by the internet of the late 1990s. It resembles a fully three-dimensional Geocities-style space, filled with nostalgic references to the early days of the web. The game's vaporwave soundtrack does most of the heavy lifting.

It's a beautiful game, and I think it's a great time.
But you have to understand that it tries to hold you back at a lot of points so you stop and smell the roses.
Learning how to break that is fun, but ultimately defeats the purpose.

You're expected to craft a cozy homestead that you can sit and watch the grass blow in the wind sometimes, instead of a prosperous industrial forge to mass produce pickaxes.
And it will try to heel you with time consuming mini games like metallurgy, smithing, hunger, day/night cycle and weather.
I strongly recommend it, but think of it as Minecraft's more autistic cousin.

goddamn right this is something every zelda past 64 can't recreate for some reason
I played OoT for the first time a few years ago. I grew up with a Playstation
I played OoT after already 100%'ing Twillight Princess, beating Wind Waker, playing most of BOTW
Its legitimately magical in a way I really did not understand prior to playing through it
There are so many 3D zeldas that vaguely feel the same, I figured OoT was just the start of that formula but its really unique in the series despite setting all of the standards and tropes.
Even really simple scenes like Saria saying goodbye are really haunting and impactful
