Kickstarter pledges are explicitly donations, not purchases. Don't scream and whine that you aren't allowed a refund, because you didn't pay for anything. You willingly gave away your money in the hopes that project will come to fruition. It's not a guarantee, and by donating you choose to accept that risk.

You get a fucking warning when you back things. Kickstarter policies says you're not entitled to anything. When you back something, you're giving someone the money to TRY to make something, you're not actually entitled to whatever that is. Instead of being retarded and backing shit willy nilly, you should back things because you want the person to TRY to succeed. You should do it without expectation of a reward and you should never back more than an amount you're willing to give away.
