It's tame VN in which you try to win a girl's affection. At the you just end up hold hand and supposedly "kiss" (the sceeen fades to black before that).

APL skills are only ever useful for butt battle, what you really want are stm reduction skills. A 13pp, 12pp, 7pp and 8pp skill that are fully upgraded through rock climbing and polished but that will take awhile.

APL doesn't matter much when scoring, it's the girls stats + any increase she gets from her activated skills. The only thing APL increasing skills do is let you get tension burst more quickly/often but that's bad because using tension burst will lower your APL until you max it out again. So it's better to turn off auto tension burst if your girls can clear the match without it.

Is there any guide which explains in detail how to build a ss+ farming team? I have read so much conflicting informations on reddit, steam, /v/, /e/ and I don't know who to believe anymore.
It also doesn't help that like maybe 4 suits in the game are good enough and you're fucked by bad pulls. My best pow team is made out of Nyo and Luna which are not even pow girls.

Yeah, I have 800 hours in the game and none of those. Nyo and Luna both fitted with pow items and some ssr accessories. Sometimes I can farm ss+ or even reach ssr matches, sometimes I get stuck in ss matches.

Doing the 10-pulls nets you a guaranteed SR suit which can be traded for Venus coins that unlock expressions, hairstyles, poses, and other stuff for the girl it belongs to, so usually try to do those when spending stones. The red tickets are your single pulls, best saved for 3.3% events.

It is fun, but don't expect any more than an animated visual novel with a mid camera feature tacked on.

It could be so much more and I can't help but feel that if they had just made DoA: Xtreme 4 with this kind of VN gameplay for it's 'story mode' it would have been fantastic.

More in-depth or interactives minigames, way more costumes (instead of just recolours), more girls and camera features (dedicated photoshoot mode with a choice of animations and poses like VV) and you have a really fun little game on your hands.

They seem to have fleshed out the geography of this Venus Island as well much like Nintendo did with Wuhu Island so even a first person exploration or treasure hunt kind of deal to meet up with girls and minigames at different times and places would be cool,

I know KT puts in minimal effort most of the time but that's what I would like to see (other than DoA 7 without microtransactions but that's never gonna happen).

As the other anons mentioned consider waiting for a 3.3% for the best odds. The 3.3% will show up as the weekly trendy or weekly nostalgia banner, and it'll explicitly mention if the banner is a flat 3.3% and not a step up 3.3%.

The standard banner rate is a 1.1% and step up means the 3.3% is only in effect for a single 10 pull.
Something like pic related is what you should look out for.

Never spend v-stones on the basic venus banner. The venus banner is the one with the artwork that matches the launcher with all the girls posing on the beach. Those SSR are a boost for any new player but they suck in comparison to the modern SSR they hand out. They also give tons of freebie pulls on the venus banner already.

Mods for this game are costume replacements, and they are just drag and drop into your modding folder once you've set the framework up.

After that you need to download skins for girls.
Your main options will be Hi-Metal, Maroskin, or Jenovate skins all of which have their own threads on the forum. People in said threads and across the forums in other threads also sometimes make their own edits you can use.
The skins are all personal preference and you can mix and match as you see fit aside from Kasumi and Misaki who share a skin file.

Finally after all that just download costume mods that you want. Go down the rabbit hole that is Costume Customizer or just look around at various edits to SSR suits.
Pressing f10 will save/reload your mods while in game so you dont have to mess with hotkeys every time. Also unless something changed with the hi-metal skins pressing f10 doesnt save the changes made to those and you'll just have to edit the ,ini yourself. Not a big deal though.

Do keep in mind that the more you add the higher likelihood of the game crashing with f10 after it saves.
