RE Engine is not why the games look like that. Capcom is just retarded and is all-in on face scanning and creating uncanny faces.

Hallway Simulator engine, and so far has been proven to be absolutely worthless for everything else.
And they need to not only fire their art and modeling team, they need to execute them so they can't be picked up by anyone else.

Why is capcom so horny, but only in some games, while in other games they are dei censoring to the max.

they probably get in house modeling for the more popular/beloved characters (like Mai) but cheap out on the filler characters (like Elena)

No, i lost the energy to even make fun of the game when i saw the yellow paint, ubisoft towers, and the aerith death change. It was the feeling of laughing at a disabled person trying to go about their day. I think everyone else had the same idea because the discussion died near instantly and the game flopped hard.

Kunitsu-Gami, the new Onimusha and Pragmata all have good 3d models and also use RE engine

That's the world tour model. In the actual game, she looks great. The hair in her default costume just doesn't look all that good as it kinda frames her face in a weird way.
Honestly, I wish they'd used some of their other designs instead. Could have had a cute African princess.
