I think I am, I'll wait and see but it I like the monster designs and setting despite not being a fan of SH leaving the US, the only thing that makes it SH is the fog and they're taking the "Silent Hill Phenomena" bullshit from Short Message

Costumes like this need to be unlocked as bonuses for finishing the game how the fuck i am supposed to take the horror seriously if i look like a bunny girl running round a set.

maybe, I really didn't like the remake. I tried charging the controls so it would play like the original and it was just ok. the camera was way too close and I really can't stand when a game has melee attacks on the bumpers/ triggers.

The game's lighting as seen in the trailers makes it look unbelievably NOT scary.

Seeing as games are inherently designed to be beaten, it's a mystery to me as to how or why anyone would be scared of any horror game. I've always seen them more as puzzle games.

A movie or a book is inherently designed to be experienced to completion so why would you ever be scared of one of those. Just finish it and the monsters go away lol

This game is an oddity, it's like Konami understands the primary audience of SIlent Hill is westerners, so they're making a typical japanese horror game set in Japan aimed at westerners, hence the realistic and unflattering 3d models. If this game were aimed at actual Japanese people, then the character models would be slightly stylized and dressed in trendy clothes like in Fatal Frame.
