We know about the flesh cave which is the main lore of why the map is so fucked together with the life crystal and there are 2-3 events related to it and then there is the biomechanical enemies like kerfur and skerfur-0 so it will probably be extended too?

Most people i have seen playing the game stop at 49 day because they run out things to do, cleaned the whole base and decorated everything, they either max out the console and signals take seconds, they already saw all signals or got kerfur omega to do the hashes and since no new events happen they get bored.
Making the game longer is not a problem as long there is more content.

some anon that was a patron explained it some time ago, and I'm likely getting a lot wrong, but form what I recall test/patron every new build needs a magic file to run, generated by a bot in a patron-only discord channel using your patron ID or whatever. that way any leaks mean the magic file only works for that particular version, and can be traced back to the leaker
so until someone cracks that, you only get one shot at leaking builds before you're out.

nothing stopping anyone from leaking other things, like patreon posts, or patron only discord channels and whatever info is in them. nsfw channels too.
you can check the usual sites, but there's nothing juicy on patreon, and last I checked the only discord leaks from the discord, was the bot channel I mentioned earlier. might be yet another case of content creators nose "leaking" things themselves to discourage genuine leaks

I wouldn't mind all of the outside-of-work side stuff if the game felt like it had designated off-time. Break it into actual work weeks of Work-Days where you get your dailies and shit, and then have Off-Days where you can grind signals if you really want to but you don't have a quota. That would give you time to go do whatever else you want without any kind of pressure. Make it 3-5 days On and 1-2 days Off.
I still haven't played since before the first base rework because I thought the crasher gimmick shit seemed gay as fuck and I figure I might as well wait for 1.0, but if he wants to turn this game into some Harvest Moon shit without any actual townpeople/neighbors to interact with it isn't the -worst- idea I've heard of but it needs way more actual structure.

Yes becaues its supposed to be a game for joel, otherwise nose would be milking patreon money for years.

Not playing until the new map is finished. I've already played with the current map twice. By the time that happens, I hope that Discord memes and sexual aliens won't have completely overtaken the ambient horror gameplay.

Let me guess it'll be another base redesign with more pointless props and one new event that's too rare to ever be seen by anyone.

I loved this game up until the first base redesign then just stopped playing as the updates just didn't feel particularly substantial.

Ideally: Strange and scary things happen in a mundane environment while doing relevant busywork. A slow-burn horror game, if you will.
