I play 4r and 2r or 3r for different reasons.
2r and 3r feel really good to sit down and speedrun in short bursts like you said, there arent that many collectibles, the games arent that long, feels more like "action-survival" with a bit of horror thrown in for flavour.
4r to me is like a proper full feature length game, so many more challenges and extras and things to do and find, I prefer to take my time and enjoy it properly
I even feel the difference in the combat, 4r feels a lot more fun to play combat wise, like a true action game.
2r feels more like a horror surivval where your weapons are purely there to make space for you to progress to the next room without dying, which is fun in its own way but not as fun as 4r
