I used to feel this way, then I gave up on life. Now I'm burnt out and I don't know what to do anymore.

As long as I complete a hard workout every day I feel like I have accomplished something and my mind it put at ease for me to enjoy vidya.

Useful doesn't mean anything, what matters is if you are having a good time while playing. Playing games is no different from watching a movie or reading a book. If you're getting bored specifically because of videogames themselves, then it might be worth trying something else, but not because "you're wasting time"

Nice try at a retort, but money isn't nearly as useful as manpower. When a rich person goes to a supermarket to buy stuff, money didn't stock that place and people did. That means removing yourself from society is a bigger blow than pirating a video game.
I may pay for a video game, but I've never slaved away, and so I am fighting the system. If some rich kike comes to 4chan, we don't even use the same website, because I have most of it filtered. If you weren't a Slave Nigger, you would know money isn't everything.

Despite the hell that is modern times where people expect you to turn a profit for every breath that you take in, the reality is that there is a subset of people that SHOULD just be enjoying themselves. Some people get joy working, others get joy from the fruits of our labor and encourage us to do more(either with transaction or community level encouragement). Not everyone needs to cure cancer or make music, theres no harm just simply enjoying yourself. The REAL problem is that there was an entire generation of people(boomers) who decided that THEY should be the only ones enjoying themselves and everyone else needs to slave away so you are pressured by these good for nothings to get to work, so you end up feeling bad that you arent meeting society expectations
I mean feel free to educate yourself and learn something fun, but theres no obligation.

Learn time management skills and set reasonable expectations. You should absolutely invest time into learning something useful, but it's also important to invest time into leisure. Both are important and both are good for you. Balance is the key; don't spend too much time on studying (or you might burn out), and don't spend too much time on leisure (or else you won't get anything done!). Make a schedule or a routine and follow it (easier said than done, especially if you have ADHD).

Treat it like school when you were a kid. You went to school for X amount of time and then went home and had fun for X amount of time. Same thing. Do something productive for X amount of time and then do something fun for X amount of time.

Going to college I learned you can't really learn for more than like 2 hours a day and beyond that the best you can do is rote cramming and grinding which isn't real development of knowledge or skill

Literally just spend two hours a day learning and then you can fuck around the rest of the day but rest assured you are at peak development

I'm 43 and I still play games. I take breaks here and there and I only play one "long form" or open world game at a time. I try other shorter stuff, like Subnautica, Balatro, Stellar Blade etc. I work hard enough that it's a break and reward to play some stuff during the evenings.

I can't play games because my dad has cancer and the house isn't paid off
