This explanation simply doesn't work at all. Nobody goes to arcades anymore and most fighting games aren't on arcades anymore, but the ratios of racial representation in the FGC hasn't changed at all. You're also using your claim that a lack of arcades in Europe explains the lack of white people in the FGC, but arcades exist in European diaspora countries like the USA and still white Americans don't exist in the FGC outside of broadcasters and content creators.
Your next argument will be that arcades only exist in cities. Ignoring the fact I live in a town of 8000 people who are over 97% white and we have an arcade, do you think no white people live in cities? There are many cities where white people outnumber the minorities, but even in the ones where they don't, white people are still usually the largest demographic. You can argue the location within the city matters as well, but how many arcades exist in the ghetto? These communities churned out plenty of non-white fighting game players, but no white ones, even though you'd statistically expect there to be MORE white ones.
The ultimate refutation of your theory is to look to Europe. Europe is mostly white, and in the recent past was almost entirely white, even in major cities. Now take a look at European fighting game pros. What are they, anon? Surely in a country with 60 million white people and like 1 million Asians, there'll be more white fighting game players than Asian ones, right? Shouldn't see too many blacks or Pakistanis either, right? I mean...why would you? :)
